Want a room just for your group? Book our Barrel Room for a private party.

It is great for birthdays, showers, work meetings, holiday parties, and rehearsal dinners.

Your party, start to finish. A private room for 8 to 24 guests. Up to 3 hours. Step 1: Book on OpenTable. Pay $800 plus tax ahead. It all goes to your food and drinks. Step 2: Arrive with your group of 8 to 24 guests. Step 3: Settle into your own private Barrel Room. Step 4: Eat, sip wine and cider, and celebrate. Ask us about a custom menu. Step 5: Step outside to our outdoor ceremony spots. Step 6: At the end, pay for anything over $800. A 20% tip is added to the prepaid bill.

What you get

Price

  • $800 plus tax. You pay it when you book.
  • All $800 goes to your food and drinks.
  • A 20% tip is added to the prepaid bill.
  • If you spend more than $800, you pay the rest at the end.

When

  • Most weeks, Thursday to Sunday. Days change by season. See our hours.
  • Start times are about 12 PM or 4 PM. On Saturday, about 11 AM or 3 PM.
  • From November 1 to December 20, we are open Friday to Sunday only.
  • We do not take bookings from December 21, 2026 to February 12, 2027.
  • We reopen Family Day weekend, February 13, 2027.

Don't see a time that works? We can plan around you. Just ask at least 7 days ahead. Ask for a time.

Saturday from 1 to 4 PM is the busiest time in our restaurant. Some times on Saturday depend on our team being free.

  • Kids under 1 do not count as guests. Kids 1 and older count toward your 8 to 24 guests.

Cancellation policy

It is the same as for all our large group bookings.

  • Cancel or change 7 days or more before your party: you get a full refund.
  • Cancel within 7 days of your party: your refund comes as a Shale Ridge gift card. You can use it online or here at Shale Ridge.
  • If you do not show up, you lose what you paid.
