Sips & Saddles: October 2026

Sips & Saddles is back for fall 2026. 🍂🐎🍷

In partnership with Shoreside Stables, this limited fall experience brings together a guided horseback trail ride and an evening at Shale Ridge Estate, all set against the colours and crisp air of the season.

Your experience begins at Shoreside Stables*, where you’ll get geared up before heading out for a 45-minute guided trail ride. After your ride, make the short five-minute drive to Shale Ridge Estate to settle in for the second half of your evening.

At Shale Ridge, your experience includes:

• Your choice of a tasting flight or glass of wine
• A charcuterie board or pinsa to share between two guests
• Gelato for dessert
• A $10 retail credit toward a bottle of wine or 6-pack of cider to take home

With just four riders per group, Sips & Saddles keeps things small and relaxed. Come for a fall date, bring a few friends, or simply trade your usual weekend plans for an afternoon of horseback riding, good drinks, and time well spent at the estate.

Tickets are $150 per person, with limited availability for each time slot.

Following your trail ride, you’ll make the short drive to Shale Ridge Estate for the remainder of your experience.

Your table is taken care of. After purchasing your ticket, a Harvest Table reservation in our Tasting Room will automatically be made for you. There’s no need to book a separate reservation.

If you have any notes or special requests you’d like added to your reservation, please email info@shaleridge.ca and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

When you arrive at Shale Ridge, simply let our host know the name on your reservation and that you’re joining us as part of Sips & Saddles, and we’ll take it from there.

*Please note: The horseback riding portion is weather-dependent. If conditions are not safe for riding, the Shale Ridge portion of the experience will continue as planned.
